Planning Applications - Due to changes in planning there is now no legal requirement to inform neighbouring properties of planning applications other than the placement of a site notice. However, there is a way that you can register to be notified automatically of any new planning applications that have been received by the ERYC that may affect you. The process will involve you registering on the ERYC Public Access system when you register you will be sent an activation email to confirm the registration.

Click the link to go back into the public access system and then set up to receive notifications of application in your area by doing the following: Click Search and select Planning and Advanced, scroll down to Application details and select an area i.e. Bridlington North. Scroll down to Date Received and select a date sometime in the past as it won’t work if you don’t - i.e. 01/12/2017.

Any applications that have been received (and now validated and published) within your chosen criteria will appear. By Saving Search and ensuring that you select the “Notify me via email about new search results” you will be notified by email in the future.  The first time you receive an email for this search all applications which currently fall within the search criteria will be listed, subsequent emails will only show new applications as and when they are published.
