The elections are on 4th May 2023. Town Council and East Riding of Yorkshire Council seats are up for election. This is a commitment for four years from May 2023 to May 2027.

This year the UK Government has introduced a new requirement for voters to show photo ID at a polling stations and this will apply at the local elections on Thursday 4 May. To make sure you don't lose your opportunity to vote, it's important to know which forms of photo ID are acceptable.
